IMIDeology at Take ACTION for Psoriatic Disease
A Day of Awareness and Education
The IMIDeology team had the honor of attending and sponsoring the Take ACTION for Psoriatic Disease event at the Bronx and San Francisco Zoo, hosted by the National Psoriasis Foundation. This impactful event brought together patients, caregivers, healthcare professionals, and advocates to raise awareness about psoriatic disease, an immune-mediated inflammatory condition that affects millions of individuals worldwide.
At IMIDeology, we are deeply committed to helping patients manage immune-mediated inflammatory conditions and chronic pain. As part of our mission to improve quality of life through comprehensive care, our team was on-site with a booth dedicated to educating attendees about the latest advancements in managing conditions like psoriasis, psoriatic arthritis, and other autoimmune-related diseases.
It was inspiring to meet so many passionate individuals who are working to improve their health and the lives of those affected by psoriatic disease. Our team engaged in meaningful conversations, answered questions, and provided resources about how virtual healthcare solutions can play a pivotal role in managing chronic conditions. We believe that raising awareness and offering educational support are vital steps in empowering patients to take charge of their health and live their best lives.
We were honored to have our founder, Dr. Jin Lee, speak at the event hosted at the San Francisco Zoo. Dr. Lee, a passionate advocate for holistic care, shared insights on the power of meditation in reducing flare-ups, especially for those living with immune-mediated inflammatory conditions (IMIDs) like psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis. Her talk focused on how mindfulness and meditation practices can help manage stress—a key trigger for flare-ups—and promote overall healing. Dr. Lee’s message resonated deeply with the audience, emphasizing the importance of mental well-being in managing chronic conditions.
We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who stopped by our table, shared their stories, and connected with our team. Your involvement made the event a truly special experience, and we’re excited to continue collaborating in the fight against psoriatic disease.
To those who weren’t able to attend the event, we remain dedicated to helping you on your healthcare journey. If you have questions about managing psoriatic disease or any other immune-mediated inflammatory condition, don’t hesitate to reach out to us. Together, we can take action to create a healthier, more informed future.
Thank you once again to the National Psoriasis Foundation for organizing such an impactful event and for the opportunity to contribute to this important cause. Stay tuned for more updates and events from IMIDeology, as we continue to support the communities we serve!
